The Workshop
Where every vase begins
It all started with a second-hand 3D printer, a dining room table, and an obsession with flowers. I'm Simon — and what began as a weekend hobby quickly became something I couldn't stop thinking about. I'd spend hours watching petals unfurl in the garden, sketching curves and contours, then staying up late translating those shapes into filament and light.
Flowers have always felt like nature's most honest form of art — intricate, purposeful, and alive. I wanted to capture that energy in something lasting. Every vase in the SimonSaysPrint collection is inspired by a real bloom: the spiralling symmetry of a sunflower, the delicate ruffles of a peony, the bold geometry of a dahlia. No two prints are rushed. Each one is a conversation between design and craft.
The mission behind SimonSaysPrint is simple: bring a little more beauty into everyday spaces. Art shouldn't live only in galleries. It should sit on your windowsill, catch the morning light, and make you smile on a Tuesday.
"Every vase tells a floral story — I just give it a form you can hold."
— Simon, Founder of SimonSaysPrint
Every SimonSaysPrint vase begins as a spark of floral inspiration and travels through a careful, eco-conscious process before it arrives in your hands.
Every vase starts life as a hand-crafted digital model. Our designer draws inspiration from real petals, leaves, and botanical curves — translating nature's geometry into intricate floral patterns ready to be brought to life.
Using plant-based, eco-friendly PLA filament, our 3D printers carefully build each vase layer by layer — sometimes taking 10+ hours to perfect a single piece. No waste, no moulds, just precise and sustainable craftsmanship.
Your vase is wrapped in tissue, nestled in recycled packaging, and shipped straight to your door with care. We include a handwritten note with every order, because a little personal touch makes all the difference.

Shop Our Vase Collection →Every vase we create is guided by three core principles — principles that shape every design decision, every material choice, and every interaction with our customers.
We choose eco-conscious filaments as the foundation of every piece we print. Our primary material, PLA (polylactic acid), is plant-based and biodegradable — made from renewable resources like corn starch. It produces no harmful fumes during printing and is completely safe for home use, even around children and pets.
No two vases leave our studio without a personal quality check. After printing, each piece is hand-finished — edges are smoothed, surfaces are inspected, and floral details are verified to meet our exacting standards. We take pride in the craft behind every layer, because we know you're not just buying a vase, you're buying a piece of art.
Every design in our collection started as a conversation — with customers, with flower lovers, with people who wanted something beautiful and functional. We listen, we iterate, and we design with real homes in mind. Our vases are sized, weighted, and shaped to hold real flowers beautifully, not just to look good in a photo.
At SimonSaysPrint, we use a carefully selected range of filaments chosen specifically for vase production. Our go-to is PLA+ — an enhanced version of standard PLA that offers greater impact resistance and a smoother surface finish, perfect for the fine floral detailing in our designs.
For our water-holding vases, we use a food-safe PETG filament, which is moisture-resistant, durable, and completely non-toxic. PETG holds its shape over time, resists warping in warm environments, and will not leach chemicals into the water your flowers drink.
All our filaments are sourced from certified suppliers, are RoHS compliant, and are free from BPA, heavy metals, and harmful plasticisers. We believe beautiful things should also be safe — for your home, your family, and the planet.
